Billing Specialist

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process all invoicing, including but not limited to Time & Material, Planned Maintenance, Fixed Fee projects as well as Project and AIA 
• Ensure that each invoice meets ARC’s internal requirements and had obtained proper approval
• Generate and analyze necessary reporting to verify that final invoicing figures reconcile with project documentation
• Review all invoicing prior to distribution to confirm that all remittance information is accurate and customer instructions are followed
• Collaborate with AR Collections and Billing Specialist to assist with timely collection of all open receivable balances 
• Work with Service, Project and Sales team to ensure timely invoicing and that all monthly cutoffs are met
• Work with Accounting team on year-end audit
• Other projects as necessary

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High-level problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Understand the nuances of a Union environment
• 5 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Spectrum / Field Connect experience (preferred)
